The Office is open Monday- Friday from 8:00AM- 5:00PM
The Village Clerk is charged with executing the policies, actions and initiatives of the municipality. The Clerk reports and takes direction from the Mayor and serves as the Mayor’s direct liaison to residents, businesses, other entities and the larger community. The Village Clerk is also the manager of grants and capital outlay appropriations, and she runs the Village of Tijeras Municipal Elections.
The Clerk is the point person for processing all requests and business related matters with the Village of Tijeras. Michael Angelo Limon
The Deputy Clerk is in charge of managing MVD Field Office, municipal water utility operations, human resources, communications, and the village’s social media pages in order to enhance communication and transparency between the municipal government and our 400+ residents. The Deputy Clerk is also the custodian of public records, the recorder for public meetings and hearings,

The Finance Director plans, organizes, and supervises the operations of the Finance Department, including disbursement and accounting of municipal funds, billing, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; supervises staff assisting with these duties.

Finance Administrative Assistant
The Finance Admin Assistant works with processing Account Payable, Accounts Recieveable, Bi-weekly Payroll, and other duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
Receptionist/Document Retention Assistant in addition to clerical duties such as answering the phone and providing information to the Village Residents, the Receptionist/Deocument Retention Assistant assists the Village Staff in the important work of scanning and digitally filling Village records.
