The Village Clerk is charged with executing the policies, actions, and initiatives of the municipality. The Clerk reports to and takes direction from the Mayor and Village Council and serves as the Governing Body’s direct liaison to residents, businesses, other government entities, and the larger community. The Village Clerk oversees the day-to-day operations of the municipality and supervises Village staff. The Village Clerk is also the manager of grants and capital outlay appropriations.

Deputy Clerk
The Deputy Clerk is in charge of managing MVD Field Office, municipal water utility operations, human resources, communications, and the Village’s Social Media in order to enhance communication and transparency between the municipal government and our 400+ residents. The Deputy Clerk is also the custodian of public records, the recorder for public meetings and hearings,
