Village Clerk
The Village Clerk is charged with executing the policies, actions and initiatives of the municipality. The Clerk reports and takes direction from the Mayor and serves as the Mayor’s direct liaison to residents, businesses, other entities and the larger community. The Village Clerk also manages grants and capital outlay appropriations.
The Clerk is the point person for processing all requests and business related matters with the Village of Tijeras. Deputy Clerk
The Deputy Clerk is in charge of managing MVD Field Office, municipal water utility operations, human resources, communications, and social media in order to enhance communication and transparency between the municipal government and our 400+ residents. The Deputy Clerk is also the custodian of public records, the recorder for public meetings and hearings.

Finance Director
The Finance Director plans, organizes, and supervises the operations of the Finance Department, including disbursement and accounting of municipal funds, billing, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; supervises staff assisting with these duties.

Finance Administrative Assistant
The Finance Admin Assistant works with processing Account Payable, Accounts Recieveable, Bi-weekly Payroll, and other duties as assigned by the Finance Director.

Water Utility Adminstrative Assitant
This position is the main point of contact for all Water Utility related inquiries. The Water Utility Admin Assistant processes payment of monthly water bills, processes applications for new water service connections, manages work orders for the Water Department, manages the monthly meter reading process, and ensures the Water Department is running smoothly and serving the residents.

The Water Operator shall be responsible for all the connections to the system. The mission of the Village of Tijeras Senior Center is to provide services and programs for seniors of the Tijeras Community that enhance their dignity, support their independence, and invite their involvement in community life. The Village of Tijeras Senior Center will be recognized as a model center for excellence in the delivery of services to seniors. We will be ever committed to meeting the needs of those it serves.

Senior Center Program Coordinator
Due to the pandemic, the Senior Center has closed down their building out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our seniors. The Village Hall has started up a “Grab N Go Meal Site” at the center where seniors can pick up lunches Monday-Friday. The Senior Center Program Coordinator will assist Rita and Flori in distributing grab-and-go meals at the Senior Center.

The MVD provides outstanding service to the motoring public- every customer, every transaction, every time. The MVD liscenses commercial and non-commercial vehicles and boats; license auto dealers and title service companies; contract with private partners for selected MVD services; and assures that MVD work is performed in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Code.
