The 2023 season of the Village of Tijeras Park and View has come to an end. Thank you all very much for your support. We look forward to welcoming you back in summer 2024!

The Village of Tijeras Park and View, which debuted in February 2021, provides individuals and families from the East Mountains and surrounding area a unique entertainment experience in their own community.

Our Park and View is a  callback to the days of drive-in movie theaters and seeks to provide a similar experience. Films are projected on a 20′ by 40′ screen situated right next to Village Hall and our Tijeras MVD (12 Camino Municipal, Tijeras, NM 87059). The construction of the screen was made possible thanks to contributions from local businesses and community partners including: PNM, GCC Rio Grande, and Tractor Service on Route 66.

PARKING

When you arrive on the night of a showing, staff and volunteers from the Village will check your ticket and help direct you where to park. Parking is on a first come, first served basis, so show up early to secure a good spot! To ensure all our guests can see the screen, the first two rows of parking are reserved for lower profile vehicles, such as sedans and hatchbacks. We ask that our guests driving larger vehicles, like SUVs and trucks, park slightly further back.

AUDIO

For our Park and View experience, the film audio is transmitted directly to your car stereo. Tune in to 92.5 FM to hear the sound! Our setup requires guests to leave the power to their vehicle on. If you are concerned about your battery running down, you are welcome to run your engine during the showing. In either case, just be sure your headlights are switched off!

CONCESSIONS

To enhance your Park and View experience, we have invited food trucks to set up and provide concessions at our showings. While the exact offerings are always changing, you can expect to enjoy a great combination of traditional movie theater fare, such as popcorn and sodas, as well delicious snacks and entrees.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms for the event are located inside the Village Hall facility. You can access the building using the handicap-accessible ramp on the west side. Once you get inside, the restrooms are just down our main hallway and on your left.

TICKETS

For our 2023 season, we will show one film per month from May through October. Tickets are $15.00 per vehicle and are limited to 60 tickets per showing. We expect tickets to sell out quickly, so reserve yours in advance! For a list of upcoming showings and to purchase your tickets, refer to the listing provided below.
